Fall fashion trends 2010 - Male Female Meets
One of the hottest trends in fashion for fall 2010 season is the combination of masculinity and femininity. This does not literally mean that women should start using smoking jackets with striped trousers, but the parts that add strength and structure will look great.
Mash-Up Men
There is no doubt that the hottest fashion designer in 2010 was Alexander Wang and the inspiration for this trend can be attributed directly to its parade of fall '10. Alexander Wang's collection consisted of sexy pinstripe suits and smart ensembles deconstructed resulting in elegant menswear for women.
Other designers came to this trend in a less literal by adding the structure of their collections, while the mixture is hard and soft. For example, Ralph Lauren paired a men's vest with a romantic blouse had puffed sleeves. Diane von Furstenberg also illustrates this trend by combining a bolero which was covered with beautiful roses trimmed with striped trousers.
The designers also added a sense of masculinity to their clothing with the use of classical techniques of fabric. This approach was seen on the runways of Donna Karan innovative wraps her boyfriend. What exactly is a "layer boyfriend?" Only image as a man's coat has been a style and shape to fit the body of a women.
The trend-meets-feminine men became more evident in formal clothing designs. Typical evening attire consists of suits, dresses cocktail, or something, but this year, women's tuxedo had an impact. It was not his penguin costume, either. They took tuxedos things to the next level with unique fabrics and embellishments such as Phillip Lim design gold lamé.
