Poll: For married people: in what situations would you chose to not wear your wedding ring(s)?
Such as sleeping, bathing, swimming, cleaning, etc?
For me, I pretty much only wear my wedding rings when I'm away from home or when I have company over, also I never wear them when chemicals are involved, like cleaning or swimming, because it's bad for them. I generally don't like wearing them in any situation where I could lose them down the drain, like cleaning the bathroom, washing dishes, swimming, or doing laundry. My mom lost her wedding ring down the sink that way and I've been paranoid ever since.
So... how about you?
The only time I take mine off is when I'm baking something that involves the use of my hands (kneading bread for example). Other than that I always have it on. I wear gloves when I'm cleaning so I don't have to take it off.
My ring is well fitted to my finger, even pulling at it now it would take a hard tug to get it off. That's why the right size is so important and if your finger changes over time, then have it re-sized 
My jewler (sp?) offers free polishing so I don't worry much about it.
ADD: My husband is a mechanic so he only wears his when he's not at work. Part of this actually gave us the idea to get wedding tattoos (no we didn't get rings tattoo-ed). He got a key and I got a heart locket, it's on our left forearms. We love them, the artist was awesome! We've also been together 9 years, married for 1 so we're committed
