Does the color of pants you wear for a professional interview matter?
I'm going for my first ever professional interview tomorrow, but I'm not sure of the color of the pants I want to wear. I have a pair of beige and black pants but I can't decide on which one looks better.
Also is it ok to wear a black stripy shirt for an interview? I have a long black coat to wear over it.
What would look the best?
- Black trousers with cream shirt, long black coat and black boots with heels
OR
- Beige trousers with black striped shirt, with black coat or black jacket and black boots?
