2007 New Trends Top Five Home Decor

Greetings friends! It is hard to believe that another year has passed, but we know what that means. Each new year brings new design trends and 2007 is bursting at the seams with them! Every week I will post one of my favorite top five trends emerging in the design and decoration of the world by the year 2007, I hope you find it helpful and inspiring.

Innovative ideas, styles and colors effervescent retro arrived on the scene now (or read). If you're ready for a more contemporary look, or even if you just completed your project, there is something for everyone in the coming year.

These are my top five favorite emerging trends in design and decoration of the world by the year 2007:

1. DIY-do it yourselves, girls and children! Now, you're thinking, "why any designer to exploit this idea?" Well, let me say that everyone deserves a beautiful environment. Truth be told, however, staff of designers can be expensive! Now there are plenty of situations in which we leave to the professionals, but not in all cases. With numerous programs, publications, blogs and sharing great ideas with the general public, there is no reason to take advantage! I was at Lowe's the other day and it took me a great book called 1001 Color Painting Ideas. I've only done a minor amount of faux finishing in my life, but in about 2 hours back wall of my new kitchen was a mosaic finish! I think the whole project probably cost me $ 10! Faux finishing is a personal project are available! Just keep your eyes and mind open to new ideas, and let your creative side free!

2. Sober lines are where you are! Open any number of magazines at home, enter in a furniture store, or simply watch your favorite sitcom! Whether sofas, side tables or on blankets patterns, designers are leaning toward simple, not-so-busy designs. I think the roots of this trend is directly correlated with the chaos of daily life can bring. When we're home we want to feel relaxed and comfortable. The simplicity of the decor of your can and will do it for you. Also, if you're an art enthusiast like me, you will find that even the most dynamic work of art (Klimt is one of my favorites) fit perfectly in a quiet and otherwise uncomplicated.

3. Small changes make big differences! So many people focus on the larger aspects of design to give a room a makeover. What they do not realize is that small things can make a big difference! Ceramic handles and knobs, artwork, mirrors and a unique headboard of my most recent favorite! I am a big fan Japanese style! So when my husband and I moved into our new apartment a couple of weeks ago, one of the few things that we needed to buy was a frame of the bed. I love the idea of a bed on the floor - is easy, and it's great feng shui! One thing I've really been investigating is the creation of a single header. There are some great ideas for this! For example, finding a horizontal piece of artwork, a framework that suits the width of your mattress and hangs on the wall above your bed (leave about 6 inches between the top of the mattress and the bottom of the work). Or, buy a number of blank canvases, ready-made and painted the color (s) of your choice. So, hang on the wall of a row of level (or make multiple rows) behind your bed (the same concept can be used by stretching fabric over the canvas). One of my favorite ideas is to use a Japanese screen as a headboard. There are many styles! Just pull out your bed a bit from your wall to allow for folding screen hinges.

4. Comfort through color is the essence of a great decoration. Many people are unaware of just how big of a role of color in the vicinity. The color of a roomaffects a mentally, emotionally and physically. This year, the prognosis seems to be leaning toward seeking the comfort and stability at unpredictable times. The environmental crisis is an issue we can no longer ignore, and the design industry was among the first to be considered. This year's forecast color is directly affected by the land environment concepts. "There is more interest in organic products, yoga and Pilates, recycling and fuel conservation and drinking water. "(Senior designer Becky Ralich Spak Color Marketing and Design, Sherwin-Williams) Natural greens, blues, and gold are finding their way into households as well as fashion, automotive, and web design. Think of the Impressionists, Cezanne, Monet, Manet y. Sherwin-Williams forecast colors such as navy, Inside, Sapphire, Gold Galán, and drop of water in this palette. Another beautiful color palette provides comfort with cultural perspective. The influences of Eastern cultures exercise warmth and creative influence in our homes. Bold and rich colors such as maroons, plums and oranges may seem risky to put together, but when you look at East and printed fabrics, combination could not be more beautiful. Still not convinced? As Modigliani, Klimt, Degas and all the rich and bold blend to create masterpieces. forecasts Sherwin-Williams colors like maroon, Gingery, Brown Aurora, and Fine Wine to this palette.

5. Dame personal space! It seems that no matter what style of our clients are, are always ready to meet your intimate belongings into space. It has been a shift from standard decoration Matchy-Matchy. This year the industry expects that people will more eclectic, adding relics, works of art, antiques, and 'forgottens in the attic rooms even more precious. Reiterate before, people are inherently looking for comfort. These times are fast, impersonal and mass produced. We deal with enough of that work, and the general public do not want in your home. So take a look in the attic, under a bed, or in that old cabinet has not been open for five years, you may find something I like!

Well, you can see the general approach of these trends 2007? People are interested in becoming a more home again. Rather than catalog cold, looking for a house shows the past, homeowners are focusing on what makes them feel comfortable in their space. Where is the pride in a beautiful house you can not relax? And what gives us more pride to play a role in the creation of our own environment? Be open, creative, and make a home that makes you feel good! Happy New Year!
