Girls, how much bigger of a size that your bridesmaid dress at?
I wear an 8 in jeans and everyday clothing, but when I went to get my measurements done by a dress Belsoie said amounted to a 16! What the hell, I 5'11, wear size 8 jeans, maybe a than medium or large .. Why such a large size, make bridesmaids dresses run really small? Did you order up one size from a few when have a wedding or bridesmaid dress?
bridesmaids dresses run small and measures tend to be a little strange - and also vary designer designer. Depending on the cut dress will measure your bust, waist and hips and have to find a dress that fits most of the measurements then take the dress elsewhere. My normally the size of two bridesmaids had to get a 6 on the bridesmaid dress. I usually needed a size 8 bridesmaid dress 12. I usually need a size 18 bridesmaid dress 26. I needed a full size 12 bridesmaid dress 16. I will note that the latter two were in B2 - Which is the same designer as Belsoie - and really seemed to be running on the side Smal. In most wedding dresses, though I am normally a 14/16, had to seek 20 to 22 sizes, but ended with a 16W at David's Bridal (I guess that their sizes are more "normal")
