The Dress Code - Five steps to a green wardrobe
In recent weeks, we discussed a number of healthy habits for living, ranging from the proper diet skin care and the values of recycling and green living. The message of a green lifestyle is simple: We care for our planet, and I leave it as good as we find and even better, for our children and for all. The wonderful thing about this is that there are many ways to live green.
For example, consider the movement green and organic clothing in the making. While the idea of organic clothing may sound a little weird at first, which is actually an extension of the idea of organic food. Clothes are often from plant materials such as cotton, and these can be grown in organic conditions such as food. With this in mind, here are five ways you can start to wear green.
Dress Code # 1 - Organic Shop
The most direct and quickest way to get some green clothes shops is to find green and ecological. There are literally dozens of online stores such as, for start. There are dozens of forums, blogs and other communities where like-minded people meet and find relevant things to talk about, including green living. See if there is a community you are interested and join the group. You can An abundance of clothing, or learn a cheap way to make patterns for home sewing attempts. The information is there and ready to drink.
Dressing green is much more to ensure that their clothing is made from all-natural, fair trade materials - although these are very important, too. It is a mentality big picture, and taking on many small steps to get the best out of all that is available to you. There is a step that will make the green world, but many steps small and easy that everyone can start taking right now.
