Scarves in hot weather?

Hello, I am a boy of 26, living in the Caribbean. I think scarves are fashion items awsome, if I may say so, and I think that look quite nice. But as I said, I live in the Caribbean and as a matter of fact, I've never seen a man here with a handkerchief. Ever. You see a lots of costumes from around the world throughout the year, which is a bit awkward as it is, but do you think it would be like pushing too to add a scarf to dress, You know, just for the look? Actually I'm more Aming Dandy-like look, like a jacket with jeans, open necked shirt and scarf for more informal situations. With a climate that holds around 85-88 degrees. Fahrenheit all seasons, this would be suicide for fashion?

Fashion Suicide are you serious? Scarfe in a warmer climate are definitely not going. They will look stupid and it would be fashion suicide
