Yesterday was the 50th anniversary of Barbie. A celebration of half a century of obsession with girls with a pencil thin, wasp waist, wrist, chest tip. But instead of rebelling or laugh out loud with indignation to this nonsense, many girls and women are far conclude that from ideal. Some look like Barbie dolls too fat. They look in the mirror and see what it's like a trick mirror image ... inaccurate and distorted. This dissatisfaction and distortion can lead to eating disorders.

Women who participate in sports or are physically active are less likely to buy the hype. They see their bodies in healthy ways. Your mirror reveals the curves and muscles, strong shoulders and a straight posture body proudly prepared to work and play hard.

Where are the dolls look physically active than girls to emulate? Dolls that come with skates, bicycles and skis of water. They may have a set of sport fashion accessories, hair can be braided in a ponytail or pulled or combed out for the match after the game and come with snowshoes tennis, volleyball and hockey sticks. Others may be assessories headbands, sports and Sox ace bandages.

Barbie is shaping up to fill in and joins soccer team, maybe she should be expelled out of the field. Happy Birthday, Barbie. Now go.
