The progression of African Americans

Depending on the perspective that perhaps the period of reconstruction was the best or the worst time in history, especially for the progression of individuals who were considered, African-Americans. Throughout the hundreds of 18 and 19, the relations between blacks and whites were, and in many cases, remains even today particularly intense, especially because it seems to most African Americans, the rules, but did not reveal common, have never changed economically socially, culturally and politically. The period of 1876-1865 proved a turning point that offered limited possibilities troubled by mental illness of racism often driven the darkness and despair. This was the period of reconstruction around slavery and, of course, cotton. Reconstruction considered difficult, especially in states where the population involved a higher percentage of blacks. The devastation on the economy and the premise of a new social structure makes tolerance of race relations impossible. It was in 1965 that the U.S. Congress established the Freedmen's Bureau as part of the War Department who participated in many important functions. Many of these functions is to help schools in establishing and protecting the civil rights of former slaves, however, after of the end of the Civil War and the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln, President Andrew Johnson start to affect the readmission of former Confederate states invited the actions of white supremacy. The use of intimidation and violence is used as a means to tighten the progress among the races and because of this practice in 1866 the Ku Klux Klan was established.

Although there were also many setbacks progression despite the terrorist groups like the Ku Klux Klan, which remains a disgrace for whites, and remains an embarrassment on many occasions to the United States. During the era of Reconstruction, blacks in public office. Senators first Once the name of Hiram R. Revel (1827-1901) and Blanche K. Bruce (1841-1898) he served as chaplain of black troops during the Civil War. Not only were the first but senators black only during the period of Reconstruction. There were other black and white Mississippi biracial political societies promoted, eventually formed a political group that included the Northern Republicans who had moved from other states.

Still not much had changed for blacks, especially when Mississippi passed the first, and could add the most notorious Black Code ridiculous and dehumanizing of law. This meant that blacks could and will be punished differently than whites, the beginning of the disparities in the legal system that still exist today, for any and all crimes including rude gestures. Recently I visited a courtroom by one of my children, foster care and realize the enormous amount of blacks are represented by white lawyers and then standing before the white judges awaiting their fate. I recalled a memory where the old black slave old man sat down to wait for the promise that there would ever see a white doctor to get it right. The mentality of this individual and others like him is that somehow, as he believed, would be the white man would all right for him. It seems quite clear that blacks could not be the only race of people who break the many existing laws of the land and yet everything was This, in a desperate predominantly white county Maryland, were full of black men tried most of them young. If blacks only those who violate laws? Of course not, but in the U.S., which are the only race of people persecuted as livestock, often leaving behind their loved ones too poor to afford decent legal filing. According to many reference publications despite the prevailing stereotype, whites, not blacks, collect most of public aid dollars in this country and whites, blacks are among the largest in the number of pedophiles and rapists. According http://www.yellodyno.com/html/child_molester_stats.html "While nearly 70% of people serving sentences for crimes of violence against children were white, whites accounted for 40% of those incarcerated for crimes violence against adults. "

The complexity and the evolution of white attitudes toward the institution of slavery and the idea of what they did African Americans in the features to achieve their own freedom in the particular time, considered essential in view of a past many Americans who will never be forgotten. Nation Nations, p. 477, "With the exception of the Haitian Revolution (1791-1804), the United Kingdom United States was the only company in the Americas where carried out the destruction of slavery by violence. "And it appeared that most of the land prices in decline and the cotton market failing experience in those days, may have been a direct result of the disconnection of a free labor force and people are not required and taken to labor and build a country with the sweat of the back. According to the book, Slavery and the U.S. economy, by H. Waldron Giles, Ph.D., "The first African slaves hit the shores of the United States in 1619 and were constantly imported in the U.S. until 1860 although imports had been declared illegal in 1808. Over the intervening 246 years have contributed more than 605 billion hours of free labor, which financed the Industrial Revolution, funded most of Fortune 500 companies, helped finance the two world wars, and left a negative impact sociological whole race of people. "

The hope of any real unity with respect to African-American race seems to have been destroyed during the Reconstruction period and remains a problem of definition today. The dispersion and dissemination of African peoples throughout the world has literally impossible for blacks to belong to a nation to call home and / or experience any kind of common culture, as experienced by many other races of people. Even today many people of African descent is suffering from many things done to them in the past and can not escape the control of freedom and fortune, often directed and dispersed through and others. Make no mistake respect, with slavery being recognized as a thriving institution, the peoples of African descent most important trade between Europe and West Africa.

It was in 1915 that a historian by the name of Dr. Carter G. Woodson developed the Association for the Study of Black life and history, now known as the Association for the Study of African American Life and History (ASALH). Only in the disclosure and the definition of the history and contributions of African Americans, a country that dropped hatred and dysfunction, we can then begin to understand the struggle, strength, motives, intelligence, ignorance, determination, perseverance and especially psychology behind the mentality of a particular people of color and candor. In 1975, President Ford issued a message on the observance of Black History Week, in an attempt that all Americans aware of the contributions made by African Americans to the life of our nation and culture. In 1986 Congress passed Public Law-99-244 founded in February 1986 as National History Month Black. In January 1996, President Clinton issued Presidential Proclamation 6863 of National Black History month and in 2009, our first black U.S. president, a man who had been deprived of social and political equality a few decades ago to the highest office in United States. The president welcomed Obama to issue Presidential Proclamation 8345.

Recognizing the fact that even today remains intense, relationships between whites and all people of color, particularly African Americans, there is still the promise of a brighter future than yesterday. When I think of the Civil Rights Movement of the 60's and past great leaders like Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and Nelson Mandela, who can really believe that there is a God who has his hands to a people that continue to rise despite all the obstacles that are thrown his way and despite all its defects that appear to have derived from an incredible and undeniable past, still unsurpassed. Is slow not becoming so rare to see African Americans in key positions, mostly to occupy high political office in the United States. When I think of Condoleezza Rice, Thurgood Marshall, Colin Powell and Barack Obama, my spirit rises to high levels of satisfaction, honor, respect and hope. But not so strange eyes constantly witness vigilant everything President Obama says and does increasing the hatred and rejection given the highest office in this country, our President of the United States because of their race.

There is a strange feeling that I understood when I think of those moments, past and present in every one of us could have tolerated more, get less and forgive often. When we think about the reconstruction of past history and when we think of the conservative rebellion car, whether on energy and environment, terrorist attacks, the economy, foreign policy, immigration, taxes, technology, war, and most of all race relations in work in harmony with the first black president, frustrations continue to grow, while the sensitive relations between the media, and large firms religion and politics in the United States and abroad, to prohibit the restoration of faith in this country and around the world. Unfortunately, these are the ingredients that make a bitter and inedible soup continue to contain poisons that stomach pain and destroy the meaning of the ingredients that make up all the dish, until nothing is left in the pot to feed anyone. This is the interpretation of maps, analysis of newspapers and books written by viable partners to cover any kind of importance to the reform social and political. In short, America must put its legacy of racism and hatred and destruction to those who are not white behind her, or she, without doubt, the fall, after all, accounts of the past which is often reflected in the party spirit of those involved in the ongoing controversies that seem to last a lifetime. With many of old, obsolete or just strictly called Catholic politicians who cling to these senior positions of power for all slowly dying, there is a viable possibility that younger generations will be able to bring a sense of unity and equality in the political arena in the country. In short, people are all in this life together, like it or not!

The progression of African Americans will go ahead despite all the roadblocks constantly hate resting in the womb of the people who are against the very existence of a particular people who are still trying to find their way through a jungle of isolation and despair. By looking at the unity of all the other races to have the opportunity to choose to have arrived in America in his, my heart is with those who are of African descent. The mere notion of going black, color, black and black now shows the division, confusion, uncertainty and separation of a race of people still struggling to find inner peace. I'm still not comfortable with the tax title to me by people who find solace in the need to constantly label people and therefore can never understand what is going to be called or referred to in the United States as an African American. To not know what it means to be African American or black is ignorance in the face of ignorance. The lack of communication and knowledge in the country was common during the process of electing Obama as our now, the first Lady referred to be proud of their country for the first time and was ridiculed by the same people who seemed to know nothing of the continuing racist behavior that minorities only black and others, especially Latinos, it seems we know in this country. how sad, but I know many Latinos who identify with it, mostly because they are now experiencing many of the things that blacks have been coming along in the past simply see myself as black, in the United States mainly because I know they see me as black first, no matter how they look at Caucasians. I do not know much about Africa. Therefore, I am not able to identify completely with the people from Africa. Why am I set an African American? I am a black American, born and raised in the United States. Do you get my point?

In the closure, which would have to repeat my statement at the beginning, when I wrote, based on the perspective, perhaps the period of reconstruction was the best or worst moment in history, especially for the progression of people who considered themselves African Americans. When I think of President Obama, I think former presidents and John F. and Robert Kennedy, Jimmy Carter, William J. Clinton, Harry Truman and Abraham Lincoln. When I think of George Bush Senior, Junior and Ronald Reagan, I think of past presidents, Herbert Hoover, James Madison, Ulysses S. Grant, Andrew Johnson and Woodrow Wilson. It is often through the side of our presidents past and present begin to measure the progression United States despite itself and its ability to rebuild again and again. It is through the reconstruction that is challenged, without fear aimed at strengthening and committed to quality of life for all citizens regardless of race, economic status or religion. With the historical progression of African American communities, the ongoing struggle for civil rights and equal opportunities will always be a constant part of black existence. In light of over one hundred years of constant struggle for equal rights and opportunities, white and the black communities were finally able to realize the ideals of the Civil War that both whites and blacks had fought, but the fact is that even after the end of the Civil War, African Americans / Blacks, although released, continued to experience no change in status still suffered social and economic and political oppression that continues today. It is and will always be the 1865-1876 period to consider the period more dramatic in the history of African Americans as it is during this time that the dreams of liberation and new life was at its peak and was late the years in which the dream of any sense of liberation was ruined, remembering those like me of the 60's, when blacks were in a mobility up, in part only to drugs and weapons have been delivered to their door steps to prohibit any non-average success. Sometimes, I think we like sheep wolf slaughter, even though we know it is the wolf that knows the best way to address the African-American, especially, apparently by a gradual road to self-destruction disguised in the 20 century fashion as a way narrow road to real freedom.
