How to have a happy marriage --- Part 1

Are you sure you want to have a "happy marriage." Are you sure you want to know the secret to marital bliss? God has a plan in His Word. The secret is no secret at all, it's all there is to discover and apply.

The following is part of a series that shows in my days as a pastor. It works if it works. It is not a magic formula. However, it takes effort, but the rewards are, as they say, heaven! So read on and start blessed. We Ephesians

Ephisians 05:21 - 33

21 Presentation of you each other in the fear of God.

22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

23 For the husband is head of the wife, as Christ is head of the church, and he is El Salvador's body.

24 Therefore as the church submits to Christ, so also wives be to their husbands in everything.

25 Husbands, love your wives as Christ loved the church and gave himself for it;

26That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word

27 That he might present to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but holy and blameless.

28 So husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.

29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it as Christ the church:

30 For we are members of His body, His flesh, and bones.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother and cleaves to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.

32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

33 Moreover each one of you love his wife as himself and the woman, who respects her husband.

RV

There are two forms of love in the New Testament. Philo agape in the Greek original. Agape, one might say, is a kind of love of God.

God loves us, because the nature of God is love. His love is unconditional - not based on how we act or not for him.

The love of God, unlike man, once - giving class love always flows outward toward us like an eternal spring water. Once lost in sin, lost in the darkness of evil and ignorance, and God the Father will came looking for, you found us and loved us without asking anything in return! That is agape.

You see, God does not love us only when you serve, when they are due, or when We adore him, he loves us in spite of everything!

Yes, even when I cheated, ignore it, even curse him. Still loving. Would you?

However, despite all we can, and often do, suffer and displeasing to God. This is due to a lack of faith.

The faith that pleases God above all things. Faith is the answer to his love, his unconditional agape love, and grace.

This love is shown, in human terms, through the institution marriage - through the relationship of husband and wife.

Jesus Christ is the husband and the church represents the wife. When the church responds in love and obedience to Christ, he is glorified, and a similar analogy can be seen in the civil situation human.

First Corinthians chapter 11 and verse seven, tells us that "woman is the glory of her husband." The husband, like Christ, agape shows - without conditions - positive - of - love flowing to his wife, and she responds with Philio.

Philio, as I said before, is more like affection: a kind of friendship and love. A woman greatly desires friendship, companionship, and security. This is the love Philio. Ask your wife!

In the Bible, never sent a woman to have agape love for her husband, only Philio. Titus 2:4 For example, he says, but had to warn young women to love (philia) to their husbands, love their children, etc. The Greek here is Philio.

On the other hand, when the husband is commanded to love his wife, the Greek word agape is used! "So what" you might say.

Well, men, it means to love our wives as Jesus Christ loves the church!

We love our wives. If she is as beautiful as a fashion model, or think what he could do with some remodeling, it makes no difference. We love our wives, is Biblical, is the Word of God.

If you are thin - Fat - young and old - hot or cold - we love them. "Way of Agape", ie without conditions! As our Heavenly Father.

Most Christians, especially young (young in the faith) the love of Jesus, because he gives them all the time. He answers all prayer (especially in the early days of their faith). He is pleased, including all their needs, and respond back to him because of what you do in love Philio.

The test, however, a mutual love of a mature Christian is when you do not love God for what he did or what he does for you, but for who she is!

You love him just because he is her father. You love him, even if you never did anything else, or even a second look.

The Scripture says, "but it kills me, I love him. "That is mature love" agape. "

In the next part of this message, we will explore this issue further vital. I'll show you, as the Bible, God's Word gives us direction on how we can get and show that kind of loving God.

One of my songs Popular old favorite called "Thats Amore" by Dean Martin. If you think about it, most popular songs, and even our culture is focused on understanding rather limited (to say nothing of demonstration) of this power.Yes, love is a power.
