MAVI Jeans is the leading manufacturer of denim in Turkey. Mavi Jeans for today are sold in department stores like Jenashalle. Kaufhof, Bloomingdales, and Cloppenberg PEKK, Buckle, Francobox, Vanity, Nordstrom, Houses Fraiser, Engelhorn, Over the Rainbow, Dillard's, Wet Steal Olymp and Hades, Warehouse in London, Jeans Machine, Off the Wall, Caruso Caruso, E-Street Denim, Zweiflers, Legge boot Crash Zinser, Infinito, USA man Jeans National, HH Smith, Gerngross, Kult, Hangers, Garden MRS chalk, Remains of the Ring, Western Store, just Jeans and Urban.
Brand Jeans Turkish Mavi Jeans was established in 1991 Akarlilar Saiat. However, the brand's history begins in 1971 when the first textile company by Akarlilar was established in Istanbul. It was called "Textile Guven." In 1984 "Erak" company was created, which focused on the manufacture of high quality jeans global brands. The CPD-X SITE fair in Germany in 2002 Mavi Jeans brand is at the center of attention and the President of North America Ersin Mavi Akarlilar ranked 93 in the list of most influential people in the U.S..
In Turkey the victory of the brand is even more evident. According to surveys carried out by "Capital" and "Adekko" magazines in 2003 among Turkish university students Mavi Jeans brand is second in popularity after Coca-Cola. Mavi also appears in the pages of "Time" magazine and the American magazine "Cosmogirl" called Mavi jeans made by the sexiest jeans in the world.
