Simone Williams label exclusive designs a dress for Miss Black Britain 2009 contestant, Chantel Daniel
Daniel is a year Chantel ambitious dynamic and enthusiastic 24 of age, whose energy and passion to succeed is because growing up in Tottenham, London, in a loving family of Santa Lucia, whose style of life was dictated by scarcity and personal problems.
Raised by a single mother with four of his other brothers, Chantel has always had very happy memories and loving as a child and never without food, warmth, laughter and love, despite their financial circumstances.
Despite coming from a large supportive family, Chantel was a rebellious teenager and left home at an early age in search of bigger things. This decision led to a series of life experiences that were traumatic for Chantel as he struggled with depression, homelessness and poverty that put her in situations in which she was the victim of physical violence and rape.
Throughout all this, Chantel has been willing to remain in education and the fulfillment of their academic abilities and is currently a part-qualified accountant.
This dedication to education and the belief that no goal is unattainable, is what attracted Chantel Miss Black Britain. The Combining the opportunity to be a strong role model for Black women not only in Britain but around the world, and most importantly he loved the idea of to support and highlight the campaign in the UK Plan "Because I am a girl", which is the joint initiative with the support of Miss Black Britain. "Because I am a "Girl emphasizes the importance of educating girls in developing countries, to give them a better chance in life, and the opportunity to continue their education beyond primary school age.
Chantel wants to win Miss Black Britain to become a model for all people - Men and women - in the creation of a social enterprise that encompasses people of all backgrounds and ideas. Its main objective is to highlight to others, especially young people, the value of respecting and recognizing that education is a way for a better life - not only in developing countries, but here in the UK too. The first step in cultivating his life's ambition is to have a positive self image and pride in themselves and their heritage and working through things that are not can change - something Miss Black Britain aims to achieve, to show, celebrate and embrace black beauty and diversity of it - something that is not recognized as widely as could be in traditional media, so it's important for young Black women feel that they have a way to express and celebrate their heritage.
The Simone Williams fashion label has been running since summer 2004 and is based in Hoxton, London. Is a label willing to support and encourage women of all levels to achieve their best in life. By creating a unique piece of the label Chantel Daniel hopes to encourage younger women to get what they want in life and recognize their true inner beauty.
