Fashion photography can sometimes become one of the most difficult issue for photographers. If beauty is everything, there are so many facets that go to the photo properly.
Remember that the shots are supposed that to create fear. The ideal situation would be to show the full fashion shoots someone and watch your jaw drop. It is always important to focus on aesthetics, when models Fashion photography and dresses, but there are plenty of things going on this, and so a lot of steps you can take to make your most successful launches.
I try to tell people to think when they think of Lady Gaga's fashion photography. Ever notice that appears in a magazine, which is never a clear shot of it, but rather a plea or theme that acts to set the tone for the session. So the first shot is successful fashion by creating the concept. Conceptually want something that not only pleasing to a customer, but that goes beyond your expectations.

Yeah Interesting comments. Not sure if I agree but thats ok. You left out one important detail sometimes its not up to the photographer and its all about the fashion. The creative director or the designer themselves might get to pick the look and the setting and the theme. Not sure if Lady gag is a good example. Does she do fashion shoots for the fashion or for the theme and then decides what to wear ?

I would like to say that for a professional fashion photographer it is very important to show all the beauty of models and their clothes. In case photographers can cope with this task properly they become real professionals. It should be noted that fashion photography is highly demanded and very profitable field of business.
