Fashion Week 2010 Graduate

Here, in Earls Court, the graduates of fashion throughout the UK and some international graduates could show their collections to the press, public and most importantly for fashion buyers and designers. Now in its 19th year, Graduate Fashion Week ended Show with a spectacular gala that will enable graduates nominated for the coveted Awards Gala to showcase their collection on the catwalk.

Hosted by Caryn Franklin The show opened with "Britain's Got Talent" winner Diversity doing what they do best, surprising us with his acrobatic dance show.

Fashion Promotion and Media Awards were presented by supermodel Erin O'Connor, fashion director Hilary Alexander, Barbara Hulanicki Biba, Sugarbabes Amelle and Nicola Roberts Girls Aloud to name a few. Jessica Dance at the University of Bournemouth University of the Arts received a bonus of a trip to the Maldives when she won the Creative Per Aquum Marketing Award.

The Italian designer Alberta Ferretti presented the first award of the award Isla del Rio de Oro (plus £ 20,000) which was won by Rebecca Thomson of the University of Manchester School of Art.

Rebecca inspiration for his collection of wine future work nostalgic photographer Roman Vishniac documentation of Eastern European Jewish children and 1930, Arthur Rackham illustrations in books. Here we see the comfort and the building together as Rebecca experiments with both historical and modern techniques and textures. The neutral colors are white, soft grays, pale blues and nudes. Crisp, wide collars on the classic shirt white dress shirt to the ankles Volumouse longbows were supplemented with floppy in navy or gray. The pants are a cross between harem pants and joggings. I loved white sleeveless shirt with gray bud neck lace embroidery and polo. A female romantic collection was definitely wearable.

Thomas Crisp Ravensbourne College won the River Island Menswear given by Dylan Jones of GQ magazine. Crisp collection of bright metallic jackets and caps brought life and color to tailored suits and trousers. Under the title "Golden Youth" colors including green and silver metallic. Here, the inspiration came from 18th century French rebels and layers is the key. A plain black skirt is worn over the skin tight pants, while a Black Satin dress was paired with a green metal cap. Complemented with loose scarves. A menswear collection made much more interesting.

Lorraine Candy of Elle Sector presented Rea Award for Best Northbrook College Womenswear. Under the heading "About a Boy" Campos collection take adaptation of the men were feminized with the use of naked light and soft tissues associated with black. Here we saw a naked black latex and striped jacket, striped latex tuxedo blouses with big bows Bibb latex muted orange bow and big Polka Dot blouse in chiffon. All male team with tailored trousers or black synthetic leather leggings.

Presented by Zandra Rhodes, Zandra Rhodes Textiles Award went to Anna Lee, DeMontfort University. Brightly colored with orange, blue and gold with the bold prints were the mythical tigers and dragons. It is a plain fabric in sight even socks and shoes. To complete the look, gold necklaces gigantuous dragon and tiger head were used.

Singer Rachel Stevens presented Genres BHM knitted garments Visionary Award Ledina Zhang of the University of Northumbria. Zhang peculiar sportswear-inspired designs were a mixture of wide and narrow horizontal stripes, in gray, pink, yellow and red. Samples of the places extra point and two hanging sleeves knotted together created the details.
