Ebay Fashion - Bargain or Bust?
Anyone who has tried to make online purchases of clothing or fashion related, or indeed anything at all Armani Jeans light bulbs theater tickets know that 9 out of 10 results are for E-Bay. This may seem pretty harmless at first, but my part I'm finding more and more frustrated with this phenomenon. As a customer, I buy my products "right" web sites. Stores with history, customer service, reputation and security is more important and guarantees. However, when I want to grab a line much to my Calvin Klein boxers I am bombarded by a series of E-Bay auctions. More to the point, once you click one of these "too good to be true" results of the search, offer or the product is almost always not available or (more likely) was never there in the first place.
I do most of my design line buy clothes. The prices are good, and I love the trouble there is order. It also makes the hunt for rare items much easier. My favorite shop now is "high demand for clothes." A perfect example of what I want to shop online. Good pictures, easy navigation, a shop with the terms and conditions, a brand image, physical presence, and a company name.
I am not completely anti E-Bay "by any medium. In fact, I made several purchases after it was installed by the "too good to be true" at the end of auction 5 minutes. However, there is something that always stands out ..... that is, every item I buy (especially clothing) has been forged, or collapsed in a matter of days (for counterfeiting again.) Moreover, none of auctioneers offer me a refund. Why? Because first, I had concerns about customers repeat, or Ebay bidders required by consumer protection laws (as it is a private auction), and finally, because they believed tat sold me was in fact authentic merchandise.
The point I am trying to make is that web users should be more careful when buying designer items fashion at auction. More so when the prices are half of high street shops. Every time you buy counterfeit goods from E-Bay, in addition to the destruction of very marks that you know and love. Burberry spent 5 million pounds per year, exceeding trade in counterfeit goods. So forget E-Bay and check out high demand Clothing (http://www.hdclothing.co.uk) or one of the other popular online stores, buy genuine products from the store proper. Support the world of fashion, no destroy.
