Fashion Week Paris: Who says that Paris is the best in the spring?

You have not lived until you've been to Paris in winter - during Fashion Week, of course! It can be cold and rainy, but Paris is always beautiful, and buzzing with excitement in a large number of fashion shows and the parties that even us mere mortals that the public can attend. And if you're lucky, you get to brush elbows with celebrities and fashion icons world's most of the jet-set of the previous fashion week in New York, London and Milan.

Autumn / Winter Paris Prêt-à-porter Fashion Week is the trade event more important for the fashion industry, fashion autumn, when rolled-out as a preview of the season the world's largest retail buyers are struggling to place orders for fashion, handbags, jewelry, shoes, hats and cosmetics. Unlike other industry shows large conference room, Week Fashion is orchestrated throughout the city to some of the highlights of Paris of interest.

The most controversial show of the week had to be that of Viktor & Rolf. Dutch design partner Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, are famous for elaborate shows wildly imaginative. This year, clumsy contraptions invented the models had to balance delicately, which were equipped with lighting and music as a kind of "personal fashion show." The designs were somewhat gothic, reminding one of the film Van Helsing. The models were poor also had stylized wooden shoes that clip Clopper-aloud as carefully paraded down the runway.

As expected, there was the Second World War and the war oldies in many of the fashion collections this year, incorporating high boots, leather, green fatigues, body armor, medals and epaulets. Even Jean Paul Gaultier Scottish tartans revealed models with Mohawks stylized, as if going into battle.

Also during Fashion Week, the exclusive Paris boutique, Colette, celebrated its 10th anniversary by inviting 10 curators of art to showcase the talent of a gallery of style in one of its walls. This was a fabulous way to show your collection ultra-modern music CDs, shoes, handbags, water and accessories brand. The store also is known for glamorous parties, art exhibitions and classes dance, and definitely worth a visit when in Paris.

Speaking of accessories, Nokia decided to share their Nokia 7373 Edition Special fashion designer Giambattista Valli Fashion Week, in the "dress-your-Nokia-en-Giambattista Valli" Party. For the label-conscious, this is a must-have phone. Each comes pre-loaded with a "behind the scenes" video for a look at the life and inspiration of the designer, along with a selection Valli graphics and exclusive ringtone "Rhodium".

Coming years are sure to have more fun and surprises. Of course, Paris in March is the place to be!
