Wynn Las Vegas Review
Located at the north end of the Strip in Las Vegas, the 217 acre Wynn Las Vegas Resort is a striking testimony to the luxury that is Las Vegas. Opened in the spring of 2005 by Steve Wynn himself, the newest 5-star resort in Las Vegas is designed for the exclusive Vegas traveler.
Will Wynn really live up to the hype? Here's a review of the highlights to help you decide for yourself.
Rooms
The Wynn offers some of the larger rooms and luxurious Strip: Five types of suites in all, ranging from more than 640 square feet to 1.950 square feet. They offer wall to wall Floor to ceiling windows with stunning views of the Strip or the Wynn golf course.
All rooms have cordless phone, fax, Internet access High speed, 320 thread count European linen, in-room massage, manicure, pedicure and hair styling services, oversized Turkish towels and flat screen TVs LCD HD. Plus all suite guests have private pools and terraces.
Casino
The casino offers 110,000 square feet full range of table games including Blackjack, Big 6, Craps, Caribbean Poker, Roulette, Let it Ride, Pai Gow Poker, Pai Gow, Three Card Poker and Casino War. If the slots are your preference, you can choose from more than 1,850 slot machines with denominations ranging from 1 cent to $ 5.000.
The poker room in the box 27 offers Hold'em, Omaha Hi Low, and mixed game combination with the limits set between 4 and 8 dollars to 200 dollars. There are also high-limit games as pot limit and no limit games.
The Wynn casino is distinctive in that it offers plenty of natural light and very little smoking. In addition, children should be accompanied by an adult and no strollers are allowed in the casino.
Golf
Designed by Tom Fazio exclusively for Wynn resort guests, the golf course is actually integrated into the complex itself to the first tee is less than 50 meters from the hotel. Angels fall from the sky, the ancient warriors walk through the dreams and the sleeping beauties disappear into a watery abyss. The theme of the program, according to Dragone is really about the dual nature of the human race: how men can do both beautiful things and bad things at the same time.
Restaurants
If you've always wanted to eat with the world's most famous chefs can do at the Wynn. Chef Paul Bartolotta of the Ristorante di Mare was named the best chef in the Midwest U.S., the James Beard Foundation.
Executive Pastry Chef Frederic Robert was named Restaurant Pastry Chef of the Year by Filer Gourmande and Pastry Chef of the Year by Champérard Guide.
Chef Alessandro Stratta heads the Riviera cuisine was called Best New Restaurant 2005 by Esquire magazine and received the AAA Five Diamond Award of Excellence in 2006.
The Wynn offers over 15 restaurants to choose from, with a wide selection of kitchen so you never get bored (or even have to leave the station!).
Spa
The spa offers 45 treatment rooms for massage, body treatments, facials and hydrotherapy. Enjoy a customized massage to soothe away the stresses of the day or relax with a loved one in a couples massage.
Choose from the latest anti-aging technology with specialized facial treatments such as enzyme active Anakiri facial or the Naturopathica Custom Facial which is based in the traditional European deep cleansing.
Shopping
The 75,000 square feet Wynn Esplanade is where you find the names Exclusive fashion: Chanel, Dior, Oscar de la Renta, Gaultier, Louis Vuitton and and the only Manolo Blahnik boutique outside New York.
For men, there Brioni and of course, showroom and Penske Wynn Ferrari Maserati. If that's not enough, a few steps to cross the street you find the fashion show mall.
With its prime location and exclusive shopping boutiques the Wynn is a favorite for fashion makers and shoppers alike.
Bottom line?
The Wynn is just the latest luxury getaway in Las Vegas. While there can be for the economy traveler, if you want to stay in one of the best hotels in the world and have a once in a lifetime experience, the Wynn is the "IT" place to be in Las Vegas.
