Mischa Barton
Early
Mischa Barton was born in London, England Irish mother, Nuala (ne Quinn), a photographer and an English father, Paul Marsden Barton, a forex broker. She has two sisters, Hania and Zoe young adults, a London lawyer. His father's work took the family to New York when Barton was six, and she became a naturalized citizen of the United States in 2006. Carrera
Barton began acting at the age of eight (as the Friday Night Project), co-star in the Broadway premiere of Slavs!, written by Tony Kushner. She appeared in several other Off Broadway productions, taking a lead role in James Lapine's Twelve Dreams at Lincoln Center. She made her film debut in Lawn Dogs, which won awards at film festivals around the world. Since then, she has appeared in several films, including The Sixth Sense, Notting Hill, St Trinians, and ring closure. In St Trinians, she appeared as a former head girl of that school advising current senior pupils on fashion and style. Barton first appeared on television in 1996, as young Lily Montgomery in the soap opera All My Children, and a modern remake of Bonnie and Clyde. Other television appearances include an episode of Fox's Fastlane, James Blunt music video "Goodbye My Lover" video and music Enrique Iglesias "Addicted."
In August 2003, Fox premiered the television series The OC, about rich teenagers with stormy personal lives who reside in scenic Orange County, California. The show became an overnight success because of their large fan base, and led to Barton's fame is growing through her role as Marissa Cooper. Barton departed from the show at the end of the third season in May 2006. The CO was reduced dramatically in the ratings during its third and fourth seasons, and ended in early 2007.
In July 2006, Barton appeared on the British comedy variety show The Friday Night Project as a large number of guests. In 2007, Barton appeared in the film The Oh in Ohio, and again in closing the circle. She also appeared in the R-rated comedy film Virgin Territory with Hayden Christensen. In 2008, Barton appeared on the popular show Gok's Fashion Fix on Channel 4. In the episode, Gok goes on a shopping trip in Paris with Mischa exclusive. She appeared in the murder of a High School President, co-starring Bruce Willis, when the film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2008. The film was scheduled for a theatrical release in February 2009 but this was canceled when the distributor, Yari filed for bankruptcy. The film received a television premiere in Russia on May 14, 2009. Sony will release the title in the U.S. on DVD on October 6, 2009.
He also participated in the horror, walled in which released directly to DVD in March 2009. His next horror project, Party received a limited release in July 2009. Barton could not attend the premiere of the psychological thriller due to a medical issue.
He also starred in Do not Fade Away, which is expected to be released in 2010. She began filming You and I, a film inspired by tATu directed by Roland Joffe. The film premiered at the Festival Cannes in May 2008, but is expected to be released in 2010.

Legal Issues
Barton was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, marijuana possession and driving without a valid license on December 27, 2007.
