I admit it - I'm a total fool of clothing sugar and spice girl. Give me lace and roses, hand-knitted shirts, add hand smocked bodice and I'm in heaven. I raised two girls and had a hand in half a dozen nephews and I am here to warn you, ladies. If you like dress the girl in ribbons and lace, you will enjoy as much as you can when is a baby - because it will not be long before she is choosing her own clothes. And honestly, flying styles I love just do not fit the average active child. So - out of your system when a baby - and take lots and lots of images.
Only for mothers like me, here are five classic look for girls elegantly dressed to make sure that your little angel never be mistaken for a boy - until she begins to dress, at least.
Hand Smocked Polly Flinders dresses
Nothing in this world that says 'Girl' rather like a hand, Polly Flinders dress robes. I was lucky that my youngest son was a child to find a whole box full of vintage dresses 1950 Polly Flinders, and buy them for a dollar each.
