Jeans: the followers of fashion
A world famous clothing designer in the UK once said that fashion is a smooth progression of ideas renewed - and it is difficult argue with this sentiment.
While fashion is by definition something that is constantly changing, there are only so many changes in clothing trends can go through before they inevitably begin to borrow ideas from previous styles, and this can be seen across many fashion trends in recent years.
The flare and fashion bellbottom the years 1960 and 1970 was raised for a time in the late 80s to early 90s music scene that emerged from Manchester baggy, however, this time the style was a bit more informal. In addition, the mod style trend in the mid-1960s has certainly seen a resurgence in recent years, proving very popular with skinny again.
Of course, fashion has always been closely linked with the lives of celebrities - the glitz and glamor of the music and film industry to help turn the stars in models and, ultimately, global trendsetters. As such, it requires only a quick scan of the latest music magazines to see what is currently hot with young people across the country.
While some styles may change over a period relatively short time, some things just never seem to go out of style. Jeans, for example, is an item of clothing that seems to have always existed. Originally from the expression French 'bleu gene (the blue of Genoa), jeans originated in two places independently of each other in Nimes (France) and India, where the jeans were worn by sailors Dhunga (which eventually lent its name to mono).
But at the same time they were originally used by workers for high-strength material and overall durability, became fashionable jeans in American popular culture in the 1950s, and became a symbol of rebellion through various youth subcultures of the time. And the rest, as they say, history.
Cowboys have been a pillar of popular in many cultures since then casually take you by the people of almost all demographic groups. As is the case with all fashion trends, people have always sought how to differentiate themselves from the mainstream.
Over the years, the popular denim fashion have included bellbottom, boot-cut, flare, straight-legged and shorts, to name a few. The scene of hip-hop music also helped put the baggy jeans in the mainstream, often used together with a baseball cap, sneakers and a casual shirt. This helps show how a simple item of clothing can reveal much about the history and life of a person chooses to follow.
For now though, thin jeans are back in style. If you ever go out of fashion again, maybe it's better to stick to them, because you never know, but it could be fashionable again long before expected.
