Woman on Top: the world of publishing Women Magazine
To date, there are at least 115 magazines published around the world that specially caters to the women. Of the women magazine publishing has been a lucrative industry. These magazines not only focus on fashion, shoes and shopping but also to any interest that the concerns of women. That is about parenting, health, sports and any imaginable activity that women would be interested in ceramics as, tattoo or woodworking. The following are some of the famous and not so common titles in the women's magazine publication.
The Lady of the journal
Also known as, hold your breaths, Entertaining Companion for the fair sex, Appropriated solely to the use and entertainment Magazine is the magazine lady of the first women. It is a monthly magazine that occurred from 1770 to 1837.
Love, Pearls and Swine Magazine
The unique name of this online magazine Matthew 7:6 comes from the Holy Bible. The verse says: Do not give what is holy to unholy people. Do not give pearls to swine! They trample the pearls, then turn and attack you. The magazine aims to guide young women who want to reach most of living in a modern society while defending their Christian values. It takes on different topics, from growing pains and faith to fashion and beauty. Abi Olukeye is current magazine Editor in Chief.
Marie-Claire
Who Marie-Claire? Jean Provoust, creator of the magazine, you should think about the ideal French woman when he named this magazine when it was first published in 1937. When World War II began, the publication of the magazine was left until 1954. Jean Provoust daughter Evelyn later took over when he retired in 1976. The issue of magazine is more than a pretty face. Make sure that the serial conversations about topics that are relevant to the modern woman. This includes political and social issues along with fashion, beauty and lifestyle in their affairs. It is distributed to twenty-two countries other than United States States.
Sports Illustrated for Women
Sports Illustrated for Women is published by the signing of a major magazine publishing industry, Time Inc. From ten issues a year, Sports Illustrated Women or SI Women has published later in two magazines in a month. The magazine has attracted the attention of women because women are more interested as participants when sports. Unfortunately, the magazine only lasted two years with twenty issues on it.
Zan-e Rouzé
Zan-e-Rouzé is the translation Iran of today's woman. It is published in Iran by the Kayhan editorial in the government of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi. Kayhan is also known to publish other magazines for sports and children. After the Shah of Iran was overthrown in 1979, the company continued its operations in London. Zan-e-Rouzé then changed its focus from gossip empowerment of women.
Seventeen
Every American teenager must have heard this journal. Seventeen has been first published in 1944 and still continues to enjoy popularity among girls in their tweens and early twenties. The magazine features beauty, fashion, health articles and celebrity news. They also have a regular section called Dear Seventeen which gives advice to young women. It has six international editions in South Africa, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, India, and in Hispanic countries.
The Liner
The name of this magazine may sound like The Terminator but it is definitely a magazine female. It is the subtitle A fashion magazine, Culture and Fine Arts. Was published from 1873 to 1937 by Butterick internal magazine publisher. Although it has stopped running, the magazine is still a sensation among the lovers of Art Deco.
It features Victorian-style fashion on its cover with careful details on the clothes, perhaps to serve as a guide for the tailors.
